Yes you heard me, we got our hands on one free ticket to Macromedia MAX. You will be able to hob-knob with the coolest Flashers and Macromedia-heads from around the world and even meet some of those weird Adobe people we've been hearing so much about lately.
FlashInsider friend Mochi Media, creator of the MochiBot Flash tracker, has donated a free ticket for us to give to one worthy person. Of course you will need to get you own transportation and hotel room, but how hard could that be? What's the catch? Well, we will give the ticket to the developer who can whip up the coolest Flash-based RSS reader for the Weblogs, Inc Network in two weeks. The reader must contain the following five feeds by default: FlashInsider <feed>, TVSquad <feed>, SlashFood <feed>, Hack-a-Day <feed>, and Engadget <feed>. The winning SWF will be distributed across the Weblogs, Inc Network for download by anyone who wants it and will contain that crucial piece of MochiBot code that let's you know exactly where in the world that Flash has gone. The winner will be notified via email and will have to give the FLA to FlashInsider for distribution and possible editing. Your SWF could be distributed world-wide via sites like Engadget, Autoblog and even FlashInsider. Plus your name will be mentioned in any post announcing distribution.
How do I enter? Email your SWF to contest@flashinsider.com with 'FlashInsider MAX contest' as the subject and our veteran panel of judges will select the best one. The only requirement is that you add a MochiBot to the SWF. The deadline is Monday, September 26, 2005 and a winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 28, 2005.

1. I hope someone comes up with an awesome solution, but based on my own experience I am very skeptical. You can read about it here: http://harrisreynolds.net/blog/archives/2005/09/why_a_flash_rss.html
