The public beta for Flash Player 8 has been out for about a week now. Macromedia is asking developers to test their previous work for backwards compatibility, but some folks just can't wait to get started with some of the new features. G. Wygonik has developed a couple of color picker applications that show how you can access pixel data. This is a feature that former Director users picking up Flash have always asked for. Nice to see it in action!
