On the drive to work this morning I listened to an NPR story on scientists who are testing the positive effects of Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) on the younger generation. DDR encourages exercise while getting geeky and soon not to be chubby kids to dance to techno music. Then, while browsing the bowels of Del.icio.us, I came across Flash Flash Revolution (FFR). FFR uses a DDR style look via Flash to get those of us to lazy to dance (or to cheap to use our hard earned quarters to embarrass ourselves in the mall) to use our keyboards. This finger dance follows rules similar to DDR with floating arrow symbols and such plus the obligatory pounding techno backbeat. The FFR site features an online forum and techno radio station plus you can challenge you DDR-challenged buddies to an online FFR finger freak out. Enjoy and post your high scores in the comments.

1. This makes me remember SomethingAwful.com's classic Dance Dance Karnov (2001).
