Macromedia to the MAX

max 2005Today Macromedia announced that MAX 2005 would be held in Anaheim, CA October 16-19. MAX is a multi-day training slash tutorial slash hang out slash meet and greet convention that is held annually and supplemented by events like the up coming miniMAX2 (soon to be held in Bethesda, MD). It will feature the new Flash Platform and include sessions on how to implement Rich Internet Applications using Flash, Flash Lite, Cold Fusion and more. Macromedia’s MAX page has full details along with suggested course tracks and course descriptions. The event is timed to happen around the finalization of the Adobe Macromedia merger and hopefully Adobe will have representatives on hand as well to answer questions.

If you are unable to attend, most MMUGs should have some sort of event related to MAX during that week. If there isn’t a MMUG in your area, Macromedia has a site set up to help you start one.
